Procedure to get Vietnam permanent residence card[1]

Step 1: Preparing a dossier in accordance with law

Step 2^{^[1]}: Applying documents

Case (1) (2): Submit at Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security.

Case (3) (4): Submit at Division of Immigration Administration of Public Security in the province, cities under the jurisdiction of the central government.

Signifinaces:

Working time from Monday to Friday (except for public holidays, holidays).
In an valid dossier situation, the immigration authority shall be guide you through completing documents, and will not receive the dossiers until their sufficiency.
Time that considers granting the permanent residence status does not exceed 6 months.

Step 3^{^[2]}: Receiving a permanent residence card

After getting a notification from the Public Security in the province, cities under the jurisdiction of the central government, you have 3 months to receive the permanent residence card.
